Mission of the El Katif Legion Of Honor
The "Legion" is made up of
Military Veterans, Retirees and Active Duty Personnel, who want to perpetuate the memory of those who died in the
Service of their Country. To serve and support our Potentate and act as a Service Unit to the Shrine and Shriners
Hospitals, and cultivate a spirit of comradeship among members, not only as Noble Brothers, but as Comrades-In-Arms,
who have served our God and Country on the Land, on the Sea, and in the Air. And to provide sociability, entertainment
and ceremonial activities with a military atmosphere that will promote the interests of El Katif Shrine and Shrinedom
in general.
We of the El Katif Shrine Legion Of Honor
consider ourselves to be "Servicemen In Service to the Shrine", and our Motto is "It's an Honor
to belong to the Legion Of Honor"!

Membership Requirements
Membership in the Legion Of Honor is
limited to Nobles of the Mystic Shrine who are serving in, or have been honorably discharged from, the Armed Forces
of their country. This includes service in the Guard, Reserves, Merchant Marines, and Coast Guard.

Honors we've recieved:
The El Katif Legion Of Honor was credited with sponsoring two brand new Legion Of Honor Units in Calam
Shrine, Idaho, and Al Aska Shrine, Alaska, which earned the new Units I.A.L.O.H. Charter Approval in 2001.
History was made when the El Katif Legion Of Honor
sponsored the very first Shrine Hospital Screening Clinic,
at the Base Hospital of Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, for Military Dependent Children, in 2000. Thirteen
children were referred to the Hospital as patients. This is now an Annual Event.
